jjba is JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, it’s an fighting/adventure/supernatural series and I’ve gotten pretty addicted to it.
It follows the main character JoJo and their friends and they do stuff, usually fixing something that the bad guy Dio fucked up. Right now the manga has 8 parts, each with a different time, place, and JoJo.
All the JoJos
It may be a little hard to get into at first, but I got addicted to it pretty fast. I started with the anime, which is about 1/4 of the way through part 3, and then started reading the manga once I ran out of episodes to watch, and the anime sticks so close to the manga like holy shit I still can’t get over that.
A comparison between a scene in the anime and the manga
Part 1 and 2 are pretty ok, they just use martial arts to fight, but all the parts after that they use these things called “Stands” and it’s like a fighting spirit that they fight eachother with and each has their own special ability and weakness except Killer Queen, they have no weakness. Oh, and all the stands in part 4 onwards are named after bands and songs like Grateful Dead or King Crimson or Heaven’s Door or Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and it’s really cool.
Stands in combat
Also everybody always dies in the parts including JoJo sometimes, not even dogs are safe.
And how could I forget the amazing poses? They’re a pretty signature part of the series.
And lastly, when you’re reading or watching JJBA, just remember to not take it too seriously because ANYTHING can happen, nothing is impossible or too ridiculous.
What you should be saying while reading JJBA
It’s kinda difficult to explain because there’s just so much and it may seem complicated at first, but once you get into it, then you will understand.
I hope this helps anon, I had a lot of fun writing this!!

Hildibrand expression appreciation post.
hildibrand is like a reward for making it to the endgame content. his quests are absolutely the best part of the entire game
can we all just take a minute to appreciate the art they did for the complete series blu-ray release? and the packaging: all the discs inside a baby’s coffin? brutal as fuck but that’s how the show was man. seinfeld forever.
HEY EVERYONE my game, Grapple Force Rena, has just two weeks left to reach its modest $7000 goal, and this being a Kickstarter, it’s gotta be all or nothing! We’re already just about exactly 2/3 the way there, so I’d really appreciate it if you could help spread the word or consider making a contribution yourself! The game is totally free to play (and will remain so for everyone!) but backers will have plenty of extra benefits as thanks for their support, so please take a look!
Tim forgot to mention in this post that there’s a new level up on the web site! If you tried it before, please check out level 1-3! If you haven’t checked it out at all yet, please give it a look! The goal is really modest and will let my buddy work on this game full-time if it’s reached!
